Imaginary

Is it something I said,
Or is it in my head,
This struggle just there in my mind?
After all I've been through,
There's nothing I can do,
It's only a figment that's made me blind.

Am I dreaming off of a hopeless case,
With care and compassion that just won't erase,
Or has this sharpie been out of ink from the start?
Is this ploy all for me,
Just so I could see,
That life's simpler than I thought in my heart?
